Partner 15: Centre for the Development of Industrial Technology (CDTI) / Spain
The Centre for the Development of Industrial Technology (CDTI) has become a key organisation for the promotion of innovation and technology development in Spain since its creation in 1977. The mission of CDTI is to help Spanish companies to improve their technological level by providing funding for research and development projects, the management and promotion of their participation in international technological co-operation programs, and facilitating technology transfer. The CDTI also encourages and assists in the creation, development and consolidation of technology-based enterprises in Spain.
The CDTI has been appointed by the Spanish Ministry of Industry, Tourism and Trade to manage the Spanish participation in the programmes included in the EU’s R&D Framework Programme, the Eureka Programme, the Iberoeka initiative, the European Space Agency (ESA), the supply and industrial contracting aspects of CERN and ESRF, and aspects of Hispasat, Eumetsat and Spainsat.
